 On Saturday Jan. 21, 2012, Barbara Susan Booth, presented a day long
workshop "SoulCollage(r) Introduction" which was generously hosted by Diane
Brown at her home in Unionville where the group was served a lovely lunch.
On a sunny snow covered winter day, participants travelled from Kingston and
Waterloo to Unionville to experience the creative inspiration of their own
soul's wisdom. The energy in the workshop was filled with awe at the
creative expression and sense of community that this work manifested.
Barbara trained in SoulCollage(r) Facilitation with Seena Frost in
California in June 2011 and is hosting Seena to teach a Facilitator's
Training in Guelph in September 2012.
The Bookshelf supported the event by having Seena's latest book
"SoulCollage(r) Evolving" available for participants to purchase. The
workshop a cost was $84.75 including HST and supplies.

1.jpg) On Thursday Jan. 26, 2012, Miriam MacGillis, OP presented a captivating talk “Embracing the Earth: Living a Mutually-Enhancing Relationship with Earth”. She is a Dominican Sister who co-founded Genesis Farm in 1980. This organic farm and Earth Literacy Centre is receiving much acclaim around the world as is Miriam herself for her contribution to ecological recovery. The fact that she won a Thomas Berry award in 2005 and was rated as one of the 15 green religious leaders of the planet was quite apparent in her informed and impassioned presentation to an appreciative “full-house” at Loyola House in Guelph, Ontario. This event was sponsored by Ignatius Jesuit Centre, Sacred Wisdom Centre and The Guelph Seminar for a $10.00 admission fee.
